Every 7,500 Miles

At the 7,500-mile or six-month mark, your Hyundai requires several key maintenance tasks. The manufacturer recommends changing the engine oil and oil filter to remove any dirt and debris that could cause premature wear on your engine. It is also recommended a tire rotation to prevent uneven wear and extend your tires' lifespan. Our team will also inspect the car battery, air cleaner filter, and vacuum hose. If you're not using TOP TIER Detergent Gasoline, we'll add a fuel additive. Finally, we'll check your coolant, brake fluid, and transmission fluid levels. Please note: One place we at King's Auto Repair differ from Hyundai on oil changes is they claim 7,500-mile oil changes for normal maintenance. We see a lot of vehicles that develop engine issues once they are out of warranty from these extended 7,500-mile oil changes. Mostly timing chain and Variable Camshaft issues. We only use high quality synthetic oil from Quaker State or Pennzoil to keep your engine clean and running efficiently.

Every 15,000-Miles

When your Hyundai reaches 15,000 miles or one year, we'll perform all the services from the7,500-mile check-up. In addition, we'll replace the climate control filter and conduct additional inspections. These checks include the air conditioning refrigerant, suspension mounting bolts, brake hoses and lines, steering gearbox, linkages, boots and connections, driveshaft, and boots. We'll also check your front and rear brake pads and discs, front brake calipers, rear brake drums and linings, and the exhaust pipe.

Every 30,000-Miles

At the 30,000-milemilestone, we'll provide the standard services from the 7,500-mile check, replace the climate control filter, and change the air cleaner filter. Our team will also carry out comprehensive inspections of the air cleaner filter, filler cap and vapor hose, air conditioning refrigerant, parking brake, fuel filter, fuel tank air filter, fuel hoses, brake lines and hoses, brake fluid, muffler and exhaust, suspension mounting bolts, brake parts, and steering system.
